Start by frying finely chopped onions in a pot and then pouring water over them. Gourmets can, of course, bet on vegetable stock. Then add the other important ingredients in the form of chopped potatoes, allspice, bay leaf and cumin. After cooking for a while, add about half the amount of prepared and chopped garlic. The remaining garlic is squeezed and added to the soup a minute before boiling so that you do not lose its beneficial substances.
The garlic is ready only after you season it sufficiently. This is what marjoram, salt, pepper and parsley are for. Incidentally, cloves also come in handy. You can then serve the garlic with cheese, which will stretch beautifully, or top it with a beaten egg. This will add not only to the taste, but also to the overall appearance of the soup.
