This term defines a secured path in inaccessible mountainous terrain and environment. A written expression that reveals a lot about the difficulty of the route itself. Within each route you will encounter&nbsp;<em>handrails, footboards, pins, footbridges, chains<\/em> and other securing elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proper equipment is essential<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Whichever ferrata you decide to visit, under no circumstances should you forget the necessary and important equipment that contributes to overall safety. These are usually basic <strong>climbing elements<\/strong>based on a protective helmet, seat, belay ropes and carabiners. Properly chosen footwear also plays an important role. Of course, the demands on equipment increase with increasing difficulty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Popular and popular ferratas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most sought after and popular ferrata meccas is undoubtedly Austria. There is an overabundance of such secured trails on its territory, offering a unique experience. You can see for yourself the Intersport ferrata or the famous <strong>ferrata Drachenwand<\/strong>. If you have the experience and dare to do something more challenging, the Sisi Panorama ferrata will be your destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We could certainly continue in a similar vein. The list of unrivalled ferrata includes Dachstein and for those who love a real adrenaline rush there is the Kripenstein ferrata.
