A typical example is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/regbu.com\/en\/cybersikana-man-nabyvat-nejruznejsich-likes\/\">Cyberbullying<\/a><\/strong> annoying young and elderly users. But alongside it, there can also be all sorts of addictions. One of them is <strong>Internet and social media addiction<\/strong>which is called netholism. If you don't know exactly what you mean by it, we'll tell you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Netholism?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Netolism is basically a sick addiction related to, among other things, the aforementioned social networks. It is essentially <strong>virtual drug<\/strong> accessible via computer, smartphone or tablet. And it should be noted that quite interesting statistics are emerging with this area. It is characterised by certain symptoms, but at the same time has negative consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The main symptoms of social media addiction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you know if you're addicted to social media, you ask? Very easy. You can't tear yourself away from the Internet. You forget about eating and drinking and start to ignore the world around you. Social networks are your second home. Without social networks, you suffer from nervousness and in some cases you can even be aggressive and unpleasant to other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does netolism lead to?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Addiction <strong>leads primarily to loss of contact with loved ones and friends<\/strong>. Because of the disconnect from reality, you lose your regular hobbies, you start to lose your communication skills and social skills in general. In the real world you are unable to communicate with others. Frequent use of social networking sites can also translate into health problems, for example, when your eyesight starts to deteriorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your social media addiction grows to these levels, it is advisable to seek professional help.
